wants and needs takes experience. The experience to be
able to look past the current inventory to determine
which home really is right for the buyer. The ability to
write the offer to insure that the buyer actually gets
the home while at the same time insuring that the buyer
does not over pay for the home. Most important, managing
the escrow process to closing.
With sellers, it is
the ability to understand the market, to know when to
recommend pushing the price ceiling and when to back
off. The resources to insure that the home is marketed
to insure the seller receives the top price possible in
the shortest amount of time. Most important, the
knowledge to insure a smooth transaction and to keep the
client away from potential legal problems.
It is not about awards
or production levels. It is also not about sales and
commissions. It is about insuring that the outcome of
the transaction is in the best interests of the client.
It is about not selling the buyer the wrong home just to
make a sale. It is about selling the home in a manner
and time frame that meets the needs of the seller.
